Job Description: Facility Manager

We are looking for an experienced Facility Manager to oversee all building-related activities. This is a full time position, Monday-Friday from 9:00AM-5:30PM. Your responsibilities will include maintaining rapport with our existing customers, establishing rapport with new customers, providing point-of-sale assistance for our shipping and document shredding services, as well as general customer service and facility upkeep. The candidate we are looking for should have:

1. A self-motivated personality

2. Some customer service experience/background

3. Basic computer knowledge

4. The ability to lift 20-30 pounds

The primary job responsibilities are, but are not limited to, those found below.

- Employee will be responsible for opening and closing the facility (Open/close front door, setting alarms, etc).

- Answer phones and field customer requests.

o This can consist of business inquiries regarding room sizing and prices. This also extends to our relationships with third-party shipping platforms.

- Employee will be responsible for assisting walk in customers. This consists of providing access to keys/rooms and answering all potential inquiries regarding the facility.

- Basic computer skills to operate software programs relating to room availability and shipping programs.

- Be aware of room availability and sell rooms according to the needs of the customer.

- Provide DHL and FedEx shipping assistance. We are an authorized shipment location for both FedEx and DHL. Using DHL.com and Fedex.com you will provide shipping labels and assistance packing if needed. We also take DHL and FedEx drop off packages if they are already labeled and ready to go.

- Assist in the sale of document shredding drop off service. We accept documents for shredding and provide a certificate of destruction to the customer.

- Be available for customers who need the keys to their rooms. Customer folders contain keys for most customers who have left us a copy.

- Sell packing material. We have various size boxes available for walk-in customers for sale. The sale will be completed through our in-house software.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $16.50 per hour
