Schedule: Monday through Friday 8-4 with a possibility of a night shift 12-8
Pay Rate: $46,000 annually

The Family Preservation Counselor is responsible for:
- Providing a continuum of parenting services for mothers in order to establish and enhance healthy parent/child relationships.
- Having working knowledge of DCF.
- Motivating women to apply the parenting skills they are learning during visiting opportunities with their children.
- Team collaboration, effective time management and interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage self and make decisions in a client's crisis situation.
- Group facilitation and case management are key components of the job responsibilities.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent or experience in lieu of a Bachelor's.
- Experience in criminal justice, human services, education or closely related field required.
- DOC experience preferred.
- Previous experience working with or for, Department of Children and Families (DCF).
