Position Summary
As a Field Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that help our sales team drive school and district business opportunities for our portfolio of K–12 programs. You will work closely with the sales team and other stakeholders to drive demand and achieve revenue targets. You should be a creative thinker, data-driven, and possess excellent communication and project management skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement state and local marketing plans to drive demand and increase sales revenue for education products.
- Collaborate with sales and other cross-functional teams to identify market opportunities and customer insights.
- Create and execute a variety of field marketing campaigns and programs to develop new business opportunities. This includes funding campaigns, ABM, email marketing, webinars, and sales pitches to generate leads and increase brand awareness.
- Manage and track marketing budgets and regularly report on performance metrics.
- Conduct research and gather competitive intelligence to inform marketing strategies and identify new opportunities for growth.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry influencers.
- Work with the product and creative team to develop marketing collateral and sales tools that support the sales process.
- Conduct training sessions for sales teams to ensure they are up-to-date with the latest marketing messaging and strategies.
- Plan industry events and conferences; develop booth, signage, and materials; and attend events and conferences to represent the company and build relationships with potential customers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in field marketing, preferably in the K-12 education industry.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Data-driven and able to analyze and interpret data to inform marketing strategies.
- Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with a high level of self-motivation and initiative.
