Fire Captain Job at City of Springdale, Ohio
FIRE CAPTAIN
The City of Springdale Fire Department is currently seeking to fill the full-time position of Fire Captain. The Fire Captain will be assigned as District 90 on a 24/48 schedule with a 53-hour average work week. To qualify, outside candidates for the position must be certified as an Ohio Firefighter II/Paramedic and have served a minimum of one (1) year in the full-time rank of Fire Captain or higher.
The City of Springdale Fire Department is a Blue Card department with a high and diverse call volume operating out of one station. The Department has an active training division with paid required training and an on-duty physical fitness program.
The pay range for this position is $35.69 - $37.46 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package to include: vacation pay; holiday pay; compensatory time; sick leave accrual; state pension (OP&F); life insurance; health, dental, and vision insurance with a health savings account; longevity pay; tuition reimbursement program; and employee assistance program.
