Food Production Worker - Artisan Tempeh

As a Food Production Worker, you will produce company tempeh and miso products and ensure the production facility remains in proper working order. You will also help to package the finished product.

Food Production Worker have one of the most important roles in our company; they create the product that fuel Project Umami, our vision, our product, and how we strive to improve society’s relationship to our planet through seasonal eating and fueling our bodies with organic, high-quality ingredients. That is why it is essential for us to fill this role with individuals who share our passion for health, value sustainably sourced ingredients. It's hard work, but we find it rewarding, especially since we are creating a health-food that product that is impactful in other people’s lives.

Food Production Worker will work at the company facility located at 2430 30th Street Boulder, CO.

Key Job Functions Include:

- Following standard operating procedures

- Following standard operating procedure completing production, packaging and cleaning checklists

- Producing, Fermenting and Packaging Tempeh

- Maintaining an organized and presentable workspace throughout the production

- Maintain food safety management protocols throughout the production

- Producing, Fermenting and Packaging Miso

- Putting away equipment and cleaning up the workspace at the end of each shift

- Ensuring the workspace and facility remain clean and presentable at all times

- Cleaning production equipment & facility after use and according to the cleaning schedule

- Completing all required QA/QC documentation for SQF

Hours:

Production – Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 8AM-4PM

Packaging – Tuesday, Thursday: 1PM-5PM (4 additional hours)

Compensation: $18 per hour.
