As a Food Safety Coordinator, you will be responsible for coaching our team to ensure we have a food safe environment. This opportunity provides professional growth in the most highly-esteemed restaurant chain in the nation.
Role Description:
- The leader will work in all aspects of the restaurant to gain experience and knowledge in pursuit of “Operational excellence” to create a positive work culture.
- To build and manage quality team members. Coaching, developing, and training team members to follow food safety closely.
- The leader will be in contact with other directors, managers, shift leaders, and the Owner/Operator. This person is responsible for sharing their scope of leadership and ensuring the collaboration with other higher level leaders for the front and back of house.
- The leader is tasked with meeting and exceeding our goals, high standards, and expectations.
- Increase systems to create the safest food environment in the business.
- Provide high quality guest service and create a remarkable guest experience.
- Create systems and procedures for your designated field/speciality to grow the business as a whole.
- Perform safe and secure food safety audits.
- To create SMART goals for increasing our safety audit scores.
- Lead, train, and support the 3 focus areas of the “Winning Hearts Strategy:” Great Food, Fast & Accurate Service, and Genuine Hospitality.
- Work flexible schedules to support the restaurant’s overall operations, guest demands, and staffing needs.
- Maintains positive working relationships and treats all employees with respect while providing them with direction and feedback.
- Support and influence the restaurant’s overall operational and financial goals.
- Ability to open and close the restaurant.
- Maintain a positive and supportive work environment that ensures food & team safety.
- Strictly adhere to all Chick-fil-A policies and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS
- Must be at least 16 years of age upon hire date
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Must have a source of reliable transportation
- Ability to handle all equipment, pans, pots, navigating shelving both high and low
- Reading, writing, and basic math and verbal communication skills required
- Works in hot, noisy and fast paced environment
- Mobility required during shifts
- Must work well under pressure
- Must be able to respond to changes or edits to orders quickly and efficiently
- Restaurant food safety experience (preferred)
- Able to work between the hours of 1pm to 11pm
