Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Move machinery/equipment with various-sized forklifts, pallet jacks and other moving equipment
- Offload incoming equipment, inspect for damage, document paperwork
- Place machinery in proper storage location; documenting same
- Retrieve stored machinery and equipment for load out on contract trailers
- Retrieve stored machinery and equipment for load out onto company-owned vehicles
- Tie down, strap and secure loads on company trailers
- Perform inventory functions
- Proactively perform housekeeping duties as required and maintain a clean work area
- Maintain equipment/tool inventory in designated areas
- Assist riggers and field personnel as needed with respect to equipment, tools and other needs
- Overtime/weekend work is sometimes required of this position
Minimum Qualifications (Experience, Skills, and Education)
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- 2 years of Forklift Experience in a Warehouse Setting
- Ability to use hand, power and pneumatic tools, read tape measure.
- Good time management and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications (Experience, Skills, and Education)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Background with Inventory Management Software
- Bilingual-English and Spanish
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions: Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials up to 50 pounds.
