MS-IL Staffing and Packaging and its local client are NOW HIRING Sit Down Forklift Operators, Cherry Picker Operators, Reach Truck Operators, and Swing Truck Forklift Operators for 2nd and 3rd shifts, in the Florence, Kentucky, area!

$17.50 - $20.00 / hour

Shifts: Monday – Friday, no weekends

• 2nd: 3:00PM - 11:30PM
• 3rd: 11:00PM - 7:30AM

Forklift Operator Responsibilities:

• Drives & maneuvers forklifts in busy industrial environments
• Reads work orders/follows verbal instruction to move goods to and from storage/loading areas
• Consolidates pallets for incoming goods
• Stacks and unstacks large quantities of goods onto shelves or pallets
• Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials & packages goods with plastic wrap
• Loads materials into vehicles with proper strapping, bracing, or padding
• Scans freight via warehouse management system with RF equipment
• Counts, weighs, and records number of units on daily production sheet
• Other duties as assigned

Forklift Operator Qualifications/Skills:

Competencies:

• Can interpret and apply operational and technical instructions
• Understands routing, packaging, and assembly instructions or procedures
• Warehouse health & safety requirements
• Industrial storage procedures
• RF scanner

Language: Can read, write, and communicate in English

Basic math: Can add, subtract, count parts, and match numbers to inventory records

• Must pass drug screen, background check, and E-Verify
• Must be dependable, punctual, flexible, and cooperative

Other Job Requirements:

• Generally, lifts less than 25 pounds
• Dress code: Wear neat and appropriate casual attire
