Job Description SUMMARY

Responsible for the overall warehouse organization, supplies and inventory controls needed to maintain efficient support to the production department. Operating a forklift to move around pallets. Pallets may require disassembly and reassembly.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

• Load and unload material on production line using powered equipment
• Operate fork lift(s) in accordance with OSHA requirements, recommendations and training.
• Assembly / hand work
• Load and Unload trucks with a forklift - On the Job training available.
• Record product receipts and shipments in computer
• Housekeeping duties including all forms of warehouse cleanup.
• Regularly lift and move 15 lbs.
• Occasionally lift and move 40 lbs.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or GED preferred. No prior experience or training.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must posses the ability to read and comprehend, in English, simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Must be able to write simple correspondence and to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Must posses the ability to add and subtract.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
