Forklift applicants will complete a forklift assessment. A key component of IEDS’ success is its people. We hire the best and you work with the best.

Frequent tasks you could expect during the course of the workday:

• Load and unload trucks, utilizing forklift equipment
• Account for product being received and shipped
• Quality control equals accuracy in paperwork and accounting of inventory
• Safely operate forklift handling equipment. We provide certification training.
• Participate in periodic physical inventory
• General housekeeping and specific sanitation tasks as required (e.g. you may be asked to sweep the floor, help clean a trailer, take out the trash, etc.)
• Lift objects that weigh anywhere between 15 pounds and 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.

Please be sure that you meet the following minimum requirements:

• Min. 3 years’ experience driving forklift and shipping/receiving. Forklift skills test required.
• Four day on, four day off schedule, 6am - 6pm. Holiday pay is double time and ½ of hourly pay rate.
• You can lift up to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation
• You are able to stand and walk for extended periods of time with or without a reasonable accommodation
• High School Diploma. GED equivalent will be considered.
• You are able to push, pull, and handle products with or without a reasonable accommodation
• You have reliable transportation

• Safety Focus: We wear safety equipment, follow safety policies, perform proper forklift inspections and follow forklift operating guidelines and procedures, and communicate safety issues and concerns. We believe that safety is everyone's responsibility.
