JOB SUMMARY


Scope of Position


The Lifestyle Sales Manager's primary responsibility is to generate new membership sales and other generate ancillary revenue for the resort and exceed department budgetary and goal requirements. The Lifestyle Sales Manager assists with membership sales within the Membership department including being a liaison with the resort's other Outlets for our current and future Club members. Additionally, this sales manager will develop and execute an action plan directed for the solicitation of new members to include activities such as marketing, e-mail blasts, phone leads, site inspections and face to-face sales.


Responsibilities


  • Actively uses engagement, marketing, sales and social skills to penetrate new club markets.
  • Identifies, qualifies, and solicits new members to achieve goal.
  • Prospect for new members and research business on-line including visiting realtor offices, property managers and concierge at high end luxury properties and condominiums.
  • Respond to inquiries and "requests for proposals” within 24 hours.
  • Position may include travel to other clubs and/or states/
  • Manages and develops relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Represent the Club in city and community activities/organizations to drive awareness of the Club, to develop sources for prospective Club Members as well as in attendance at all Club hosted events.
  • Assists in the Marketing and Collateral pieces to drive new sales within budgetary guidelines.
  • Always comply with JW Marriott Turnberry Miami Resort and Spa standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient club and hotel operations.
  • Perform any other reasonable duties as required by management.

Position Requirements


  • Strong sales experience, positive proven relationship building, and good self-starter with excellent marketing, organizational and communication skills.
  • Professional demeanor, assertive personality with previous managerial experience.
  • Private club knowledge or experience preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills essential.
  • Effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying the concerns and issues raised by potential members.

Education


  • 4-year college degree from accredited university.
