Our Company: Continental Hospitality Inc. is a hospitality management group with experience in all facets of the hospitality industry. Our portfolio includes reputable brands like Marriott, Suites at Sunchase as well as other unique, independent, boutique and lifestyle properties.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Check guests in and out of the hotel. Make future reservations when necessary.
Post phone charges, valet charges and other miscellaneous charges to guest accounts.
Administer hotel guest payment policies.
Handle hotel phone system, transfer calls. Take messages for guests as well as hotel staff.
Facilitate guest reservations using SKYTOUCH, noting any special requests.
Assist in the verification, balancing and revenue maximization of hotel's room availability.
Coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest special requests.
Communicate hotel facilities and services to guests at check-in.
Answer guest questions regarding local area facilities.
Responsible for shift cash transactions.
Responsible for maintaining the hotel key security system.
Administer guest safe deposit boxes.
Know hotel emergency procedures.
Inform housekeeping of vacant dirty suites as they become available upon checkout.
Update room status as housekeeping notifies the desk of changes.
Distribute mail to guest boxes as well as to hotel staff.
Maintain an inventory of special guest service items such as roll-aways, cribs, irons, etc.
Track status of guestrooms used for tours and status of guestrooms in maintenance.
Notify housekeeping and maintenance of any reported problems with guestrooms or grounds.
Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma/GED
At least one (1) year of customer service (preferred)
SKYTOUCH software (preferred)
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to multitask
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Team player
Ability to exceed expectations of guests
Knowledge of cleanliness standards
