As a Dakota Home Care Home Health Aide, you will help members of the community maintain their dignity and independence by delivering care excellence in their homes. You’ll also help their family members find balance by serving as their partner in caring for their loved one. How You’ll Help Others

• Provide personal care assistance such as showering, bathing, and dressing
• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist with walking and help getting around safely
• Plan and prepare nutritious meals
• Assist with physical therapy exercises
• Help clients keep their homes clean and tidy
• Provide accompanied transportation to doctors’ appointments or errands
• Monitor for changes in condition
• Provide compassionate care and friendly companionship

What You Bring to the Team

• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation every single day
• Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends
• Prior experience in a healthcare or in-home care environment (not required, but a plus!)
• Supportive and compassionate demeanor
• Excellent communication skills
• A desire to help clients remain at home
• High School Diploma or equivalent
