Full Time Stock Associate- Bleecker Street, NYC Job at diptyque
diptyque-- Our Luxury Fragrance House has established itself as one of the leading, most innovative brands in the home and personal fragrance industry today.
The Stock Associate will maintain the stores back of house inventory and assist sales staff as required. The responsibilities will include stocking and filling merchandise, gift wrapping, preparing shipments and transfers, opening and closing checklists, and operational support to the store.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist in operational tasks
- Maintain selling floor and back-of-house
- Fill in stock as needed
- Return merchandise to other departments
- Gift wrap customer purchases
- Prepare shipments and product transfers
- Follow and implement company policies and procedures
- Complete daily opening/closing checklists
- Support in routine inventory checks
- Manage incoming and outgoing shipments as required
- Own stock room organization and support
- Actively create a positive work environment through teamwork and collaboration
- Maintain positive working relationships throughout the company
- Support needs of the store as required
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in luxury retail industry
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Proven ability to follow operational guidelines and manage back of house
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent organizational skills
- Passion for the Beauty and Fragrance Industry
- Flexibility to work a retail schedule which will include evenings, weekends and holidays
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Weekly day range:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
Ability to commute/relocate:
