Custom Furniture Manufacturer, in Los Angeles County, located adjacent Gardena.

Reputable and Busy Custom Furniture Manufacturing and Restoration Company, established since 2001, has immediate opening for both Furniture Wood and Metal Assistant Finisher. Ideal candidates require minimum 5+yrs experience.

We are looking for a well-rounded, experienced candidate able to work closely with Head Finisher in managing and finishing various wood and metal furniture products. Skills required include;

• Prepping and Sanding
• Glazing and staining
• Spraying coatings and sealers
• Ability to color mix and match stains a plus

• Ability to Mix all types of Paint and Lacquer Coatings for various wood and metal furniture finishes.
• Experience with both Solvent and Water Based Coatings.
• Knowledge of HVLP Spray Equipment Use and Maintenance.
• Organized, detailed, clean and reliable.
• Good communicator with a positive attitude and team member mentality.
• Excellent work ethic and self-starter.
• English/Spanish language a plus!

Ideal candidate will join our team of craftsmen with experiences in all facets of custom furniture design, fabrication and restoration.

Our facility is large, expansive and professional, able to accommodate all finishing requirements and provide plenty of working space, with up-to-date permitted sanding and spray equipment which meets all state and local regulations.

Work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7 am to 3:30 pm.

Occasional overtime available with after-hour and Saturday projects.

We offer Vacation, Sick, Holiday time off along with Medical Benefits for established full time employees, upon completing the 90 probationary period.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
