Ricochet is looking to add to our team. We are a game lounge in a club atmosphere and open 7 days a week. We provide an elevated service and facilitate fun for our all of our guests. We also host many large events for businesses and private celebrations and are a 21 + Over establishment.

Expectations:

Lead, Manage & provide accountability for staff. As the Game Manager, you are also the direct manager under the General Manager. Your duties include making sure the shift’s run smoothly, handling staff issues, inquiries, and holding everyone accountable to their roles including their support as a staff.

We strive ourselves on being a Game Lounge and offering a unique experience. One of the things that sets us apart is our pristine games. You are responsible that the games operate correctly. You are responsible to ensure they are maintenanced regularly or can set up appointments with our local vendor so they can maintenance them. You are also responsible for assuring we have all the supplies needed, plus backups, to ensure that games are ready to be played at a high level.

Manage a cleaning schedule for you and the Gamers to follow to make sure all the games are ‘up to par’.

This role requires you to manage the Game Hosts’. You are in charge of their training, reviews, and monthly meetings.

One of the job duties is running private tournaments with events. When groups request for us to run tournaments for their private party, you or a Gamer will be the ones facilitating them. You will work closely with the Events Manager to see when you have private tournaments, the length of the tournament, and if you need to schedule a Gamer. If you are starting off the event, you will set up the party with games. You will also be in charge of greeting the clients when they arrive and start working the tournaments. The logistics of running the tournaments & clean will be on an ‘event to event’ basis.

The promotion of Leagues and Tournaments is also a responsibility of this role. We are striving to create consistent weekly leagues as a way to stay in people’s conversations of things to do. With that, you will also have to work closely with local vendors and the community to source swag for the prizes.
