Gas - Hydrogen - Scheduler Job at Cordoba Corporation
Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced P6 Scheduler to join our team and manage the development and maintenance of project schedules for a gas transmission project. The P6 Scheduler will be responsible for creating and updating project schedules using Primavera P6 software, coordinating with project managers and stakeholders, and identifying and resolving scheduling conflicts. The successful candidate must have excellent technical and communication skills, be detail-oriented, and have a deep understanding of gas transmission systems and pipeline infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 software
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that the project schedule aligns with project goals and timelines
- Continuously monitor the project schedule and adjust as necessary to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Identify potential schedule conflicts and develop strategies to mitigate them
- Communicate the project schedule to all stakeholders and ensure that everyone is aware of their roles and responsibilities
- Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure that they are meeting project timelines
- Ensure that the project schedule complies with regulatory requirements and company policies
- Generate regular project progress reports to keep stakeholders informed of project status
- Conduct regular schedule reviews and quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of the schedules
- Participate in project meetings to provide scheduling updates and guidance to the project team
- Provide input and recommendations on schedule-related issues and risks
- Develop and maintain project controls procedures and policies
- Support the development of cost estimates and resource plans
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in project scheduling for gas transmission projects using Primavera P6 software
- Deep understanding of gas transmission systems and pipeline infrastructure
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and engineering drawings
- Strong technical and communication skills
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 software and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to gas transmission projects is a plus.
Hybrid. 2-3 days in the LA office.- Salary Range: $75,000 to 110,00K per year.
