GENERAL CONCESSIONAIRE
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Under the general supervision of the Stand Manager and Cash Manager, the general concessionaire is responsible for taking guest orders, including receiving and disbursement of money or legal tender (credit cards, debit cards, gift cards, team cash, coupons or comp cash) during game day of concession stands, or portables at the facility using cash registers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operations of the cash register and handling money in a prompt and efficient manner
- Follow policies and procedures set forth by Asheville Tourists, as well as, guidelines set by the Health Department
- Take pride as a concessionaire, greeting guests, resolve issues, serving quality food, answer guest questions, and use a warm, thankful goodbye
Knowledge and Abilities:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to operate cash register and perform basic arithmetic
- Ability to perform assigned tasks with minimal supervision
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age if a position involves the service of alcohol, 16 years of age in cashiering positions not involving the service of alcohol
- A friendly and out-going personality
- Flexible work hours to include day, evening, weekend and holiday hours
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $12.00 per hour
