Position Summary

This position is responsible for providing utility support to the F&K press crews.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

• Demonstrate commitment to safety and perform job duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures
• Set up, run and maintain the Plate washer and file plates in proper storage area after cleaning
• Set up, run and maintain the Anilox cleaners and properly store aniloxes after cleaning
• Maintain and store print cylinders and print sleeves
• Maintain high efficiency according to established rates during operation of the assigned equipment
• Complete required quality inspections and paperwork
• Work with peers and other departments to improve quality and performance
• Stage and clear F&K carts
• Assist press crews during changeover
• Play an active role in the maintenance and cleanliness of the assigned area
• Understand department communication systems, schedules, time/attendance system and job reporting requirements
• Actively participate in Lean manufacturing initiatives

Education Required - None

Education Desired - High School Diploma or Equivalent

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs. Mechanical assist or team lift, as appropriate, should be used for any weight in excess of 50lbs
• Ability to stand for up to 12 hours per day, six days per week
• Ability to see and distinguish colors
