General Manager

As the General Manager at Jersey Mike's Subs ... you are the leader and standard setter for the restaurant. You drive the culture, flow and leadership of the restaurant. You own it and you make it happen. You train those under your stead to be the best version of themselves and to serve each other and the community well. You look for opportunities to improve and grow the business. Do you have to have restaurant experience? No ... but you'd have to have leadership experience. We are looking for someone who is coachable and teachable and wants to coach and teach others.

You need to have open availability. The job expectation is that you work 40-45 hours a week. Sometimes things happen and you need to work more than that. The pay is hourly so if you work more than that you are getting paid for the extra work you do. Total is between $55,000 and $65,000 a year starting and will grow from there. There is opportunity to grow from the GM spot into other roles as well.

You will be responsible for all aspects of the restaurant. You will learn and then oversee these and other regular restaurant areas: recruitment, interview process, training, ordering, inventory, leader meetings, scheduling and communication. There are several apps we use that are keys to success which you will train on as well. The GM position reports to the franchisee and the franchisee's market leader.
