We need a Global Payroll Manager to oversee all of Pattern’s payroll-related tasks and processes around the globe. This position is located in Lehi, Utah and will work closely with the HR Director to collect and review employee payroll data, calculate wages, prepare and process employee payments, and maintain accurate payroll records.

What is a day in the life of a Global Payroll Manager?
  • Process weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly payrolls for 800+ employees in the US as well as international locations in Europe and Asia
  • Investigate and resolve payroll issues and ensure strict compliance with company and regulatory standards
  • Work with federal, state and local tax agencies to ensure filing compliance, respond to notices and maintain good account standing. Process labor statistic filings.
  • Calculate various payroll computations including overtime, hourly, vacation balances, prorated pay, retro pay, shift differentials, etc.
  • Complete year-end tax processes and amendments (including W-2 processing)
  • Process post-payroll benefit and 401k funding reports and audits
  • Manage unemployment claims, wage garnishments and employment verifications
  • Prepare financial reports for accounting and auditing purposes
What do I need to thrive in this role?
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field
  • At least 3 years’ experience working in payroll at a medium-large sized company
  • Experience working with accounting and payroll software (Workday and ADP SmartCompliance experience is a plus)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, detail oriented, and a high numerical aptitude
  • CPP certification is a plus
