Job Description

Primary Function of Position:

This position will play a key role in all aspects of administration of Intuitive’s global equity compensation plans. A strong focus will be automation, continuous process improvement and assistance with promotion of robust SLA metrics-based measurement and reporting of team activities. You’ll collaborate with colleagues at all levels within the company and be an integral part of the team. Excellent knowledge of relevant and complex accounting and an internal customer service mentality are important.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Forecast/Expense reporting: ESPP expense/forecast, Tax, SEC Accounting, Foreign Entities reporting requirements; WASO (co-share); shares outstanding (backup)
    • Monthly/Quarterly/Annual reporting and reconciliation of equity data (Tax and SEC reporting; proxy, 10-K, 10-Q)
  • ESPP:
    • Purchases: includes mid-offering audit of contributions and refunds
    • Provide new enrollment/ contribution/refund data to payroll for new offering periods by payroll deadline
  • Grants – annual refresh grants and monthly new hire grants (co-share)
  • Annual equity- mix election process (co-share)
  • RSU (backup) and CBBA releases
  • Scorecard: assist with development of team metrics to measure operating performance and efficiencies; participate in presentation of quarterly metrics to CFO
  • Insider Trading Compliance: process pre-clearance for key employees; assist with quarterly window period emails; backup for Section 16 filings; backup for 10b5-1 trading plans.
  • Global employee education and train the trainer; assist with design and implementation of a scalable global education program
  • Projects: M&A activity; stock splits; automation and process improvement; develop and manage process and framework to provide stock- based compensation expense and outstanding shares forecasts, scorecard development, international compliance
  • International compliance: assist with review of international tax withholding and reporting requirements to ensure compliance
  • Employee customer service
  • SOX Compliance and SSAE Review for E*Trade and Computershare (co-share with equity team)

Qualifications

Skill/Job Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting and CPA is a plus.
  • Minimum 8+ years in stock plan administration, with experience at a public company.
  • Certified Equity Professional certification preferred (or working towards)
  • Deep knowledge of US GAAP stock- based compensation accounting
  • Experience managing and administering Equity Edge Online or other equivalent stock administration platform along with strong excel abilities.
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills with a commitment to quality, accuracy, and details
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate with all levels of the organization including senior management and Board of Directors
  • Experience with International equity considerations - employee mobility, tax, reporting and compliance

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, benefits, and equity. It would not be typical for someone to be hired at the top end of range for the role, as actual pay will be determined based on several factors, including experience, skills, and qualifications. The target salary ranges are listed.

Base Salary Range Region 1:$146,400 - $210,600
Base Salary Range Region 2: $124,400 - $179,000
