Ability to operate and understand functions of golf course maintenance equipment, utility vehicles, mowers and tractors. In addition, must be able to perform all phases of golf course maintenance. Produce a world-class golf course, meticulously maintained, while providing the best possible playing conditions.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Must work shift hours.

• Superintendent / Assistant Superintendent give assignment.
• Rake Bunkers: Operation of Sand Pro (mech. raker), hand rake edges
• Tee and Fairway service: fill divots with soil, pick up trash.
• Weedeating: Tree bases, pond banks, etc.
• Edging: Cart paths, sand bunkers, landscape beds
• Mowing: Flymow bunker slopes / pond banks, mow greens (check on proper direction), mow tees, collars, rough and fairways.
• Weeding
• Mulching
• Golf Course Service
• Wash all equipment when task completed.
• Fill vehicle with fuel.
• Put equipment back to designated shop space.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested by supervisors/managers.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Experience in golf course maintenance equipment operation, training and background in all phases of golf course maintenance. Must be able to sit, stand, stoop or bend for duration of shift [at least eight (8) hours].
