Addison Reserve Country Club and Association, recognized as a Platinum Club of America, ranking #5 in the nation for Residential Communities, is seeking to hire Full-time Golf Shop Assistant: to join our amazing team.

Responsibilities to include:

• Provide superior customer service assistance in the Pro Shop

• Receiving, ticketing, and placement of incoming merchandise

• Special Orders and Vendor Returns

• Assist with monthly inventory

• Assist members and guests with their shopping experience

• Clerical duties including answering phones, filing, and assisting members with tee times

• Organize and coordinate golf leagues, outings, and special events

• Assist with tee-time coordination

• Perform club repair, which includes gripping of clubs, cut downs, and epoxies

• Junior Equipment (stock)

• Respond promptly when returning telephone calls and replying to correspondence and faxes

• Act, dress, and behave in a professional manner to reflect a positive image of the club

Qualified candidates will have:

• Ability to work 7 days a week including holidays and weekends

• Excellent communication skills

• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook, knowledge of the Jonas system a plus

• Familiar with tee-time software and POS

• Minimum of 2 years retail and/or hospitality experience

• Be detail-oriented and self-motivated

• Requires responsibility and accountability

• Requires good time/task management, and a positive and upbeat attitude

• Knowledge of golf merchandise is helpful

• Requires proficiency with club repair tools such as a vice, grip knife, and shaft cutter

• Must be able to multi-task and think quickly

• Ability to understand and carry out complex oral and written instructions

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with many interruptions

• Ability to be flexible and juggle many assignments or projects at the same time

• Ability to work long and unusual hours when necessary

• Interacting comfortably with all levels of staff in the organization

• Requires a valid Florida drivers’ license and ability to operate a golf cart, range picker, or any other piece of drivable machinery at the course
