A Graphic Design Associate assists with the creation and production of engaging visual content, both print and digital, to support all functions of the store’s business. This position is based onsite in the store. It is not a remote position.

Reports to the Graphic Design Manager.

• Creates content including posters, product signs, price tags, demonstration signs, table cards, menus and flyers for restaurants, in-store events, retail displays and promotions
• Updates and maintains menus as needed by Eataly restaurants
• Assists in creating graphics for website and weekly email newsletters
• Generates and retouches photos - including food, space and portrait photography
• Works collaboratively at a fast pace
• Fulfills all incoming retail requests and production tasks according to urgency
• Adheres to Eataly’s brand, visual and style guidelines
• Performs other duties as required or assigned

• Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Design, Graphic Design and/or Art preferred
• 1+ year of design experience, preferably in the food or retail industry
• Knowledge of print layout, typography and print production
• Creative eye and exceptional attention to detail
• Positive attitude, patience and willingness to be flexible and readjust priorities as needed
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop and Acrobat
• Digital photography skills with the ability to operate DSLR camera preferred
• Knowledge of Italian language preferred

• Availability to work onsite at the store with a flexible schedule, including Saturdays
