We’re looking for an amazing Guest Hotel Invoicing Specialist to fill this role. You’ll be responsible for financial management and cost control of the Guest Hotel program for Princess Cruises, Holland America Line, and Seabourn Cruise Line. This position will reconcile invoices with contracted rates and submitted manifests to ensure that invoices are appropriate before processing the invoices for payment. This position will also track all hotel services used in order to provide an accurate financial accrual for unbilled services. They will process and track and prepayments that are required due to contractual or operational requirements. Lastly, this position will audit the POLAR hotel resource builds to ensure that contracted costs and selling prices have been entered correctly.

Responsibilities

  • Review and reconcile invoices from hotels against contracted costs and submitted manifest volumes. Resolve issues with hotels before processing invoices for payment.
  • Develop and maintain tracking of hotel usage and invoicing so that unbilled hotel stays are accrued.
  • Calculate and submit monthly financial accrual to Finance for unbilled hotel stays.
  • Communicate with hotels as needed to confirm payment status updates, to seek invoices that have not been sent, and to question any apparent errors on submitted invoices.
  • Advise hotel sourcing of any discrepancies or hidden charges on invoices to be aware of for future contracts.
  • Audit POLAR resource builds to ensure that costs and pricing are accurately entered before going to production.


Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in cost management, hotel or analysis work
  • Proven track record in operational responsibilities
  • Proficient in Word and Excel
  • Understanding of document sharing tools such as through SharePoint and Teams.
  • Able to work independently
  • Experience with invoice processing for large corporations with high volumes.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Holland America is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (e.g., H-1B status).

  • Base Hourly Range: $18.32 to $24.71. The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates' qualifications and experience uniquely.
