The Head of Digital is responsible for developing and delivering an integrated digital marketing strategy and roadmap to achieve company goals regarding B2C/B2B brand equity and driving business results and growth. The job incumbent manages various digital marketing channels to ensure consistency and integration to support the company's brand building, customer experience management, and sales performance enhancement efforts. They must keep abreast of the ever-changing and forefront digital marketing technologies and best practices across industries and within the industry to introduce the most effective digital marketing model and initiatives to support the business needs. The right KPIs and measurements should be developed and continuously assessed and monitored to evaluate the business impacts of investments in digital marketing. In addition, the digital acquisition and digital media lead the team in consistently delivering online experiences with targeted B2C/B2B customers to achieve customer loyalty and engagement.


Job Responsibilites:

  • Develop an online marketing vision aligning with the company's business model and vision.
  • Translate a vision for online marketing into a coherent digital strategy and roadmap.
  • Develop and execute an integrated online strategy with overall company marketing and plans—owned commerce for DTC, Amazon, and other online presence.
  • Integrate a digital agency of data scientists, SEO specialists, paid media specialists, digital analysts, and content specialists to scale our DTC projections and grow our audience—while formulating a lifetime value analysis and CAC by customer (with VP of Marketing) to segment growth within identified market opportunities.
  • Lead the company's customer acquisition strategy while tracking and adjusting to UVPM, ROI, CPA, CPC, and CPM metrics.
  • Continuously team up with the business development teams to understand their needs and goals to deliver digital marketing programs to align with the achievement of the business goals.
  • Keep abreast of the most innovative and forefront best practices across industries and within the industry to introduce the most effective digital marketing model and initiatives to the company—In-App messaging, email, SMS, push notifications, and paid media.
  • Develop a B2C customer journey roadmap and manage critical touch points through digital marketing channels to enhance customer experiences.
  • Monitor and benchmark key competitors' online presence and programs to plan and deliver standout practices to differentiate ourselves in attracting customer engagement.
  • Partner with the commerce team members to deliver first-class online customer experiences to achieve customer loyalty and engagement.
  • Work closely with the IT and web development teams to leverage internal and external technological capabilities to create a seamless customer digital experience.
  • Consistently research the target customer segments' needs and most updated trends to deliver customer experiences that match their preferences and interests.
  • Partner (hand-in-hand) with the Brand and Creative team members to execute all digital initiatives.
  • Plan and execute campaigns to support the company's go-to-market calendar to enhance sales performance and create high customer interaction and expectations.
  • Manage all inbound marketing efforts focusing on email excellence and integrated technology with the web development team.
  • Enhance commerce performance by increasing web visibility and traffic with the web development team and agency support.
  • Drive and support quality traffic to retail partners.
  • Increase brand awareness and equity by reaching more targeted customers through digital marketing channels.
  • Consistently monitor our online voice with digital tools like Meltwater and Klear and work with Customer Service to maintain an active voice with our customers inbound or chat rooms.
  • Report to top management on digital marketing performance through focused KPIs and analytic and recommendations on key improvement actions to enhance overall business performance.
  • Forecast performance trends and challenges in achieving traffic and media goals to act proactively to adjust our digital marketing actions accordingly.


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
  • 7+ years of corporate or agency in commerce-related digital marketing experience in positions of increasing responsibility.
  • Expert Asana project management.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud Suite.
  • Knowledge of Apple and MacOS.
  • Experience leading demand growth efforts in the digital space.
  • Prior experience managing or working within consumer e-commerce platform.
  • Expert knowledge of Google AdWords and GA4.
  • Demonstrated experience using marketing technology stack to drive business results.
  • Familiarity and proficiency with managing agency relationships.
  • Professional training in digital marketing, e-commerce, google analytics, and SEO/SEM with reputable institutions.
  • B2C and B2B expertise to support complex business opportunities for a scaling business.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proven track record of building a successful B2C/B2B digital brand footprint from scratch.
  • A successful track record in leveraging the digital marketing channel to achieve business results.
  • Experience working with sensitive and/or confidential information.


Preferred Skills:

  • You have a strong network of brand affiliates and professional consultants within the outdoor and hunting markets in the digital marketing arena.
  • Results-driven personality with a high level of enthusiasm, energy, and confidence paired with humility and a desire to learn.
  • A combination of working both within a corporate environment and in an agency is preferable.
