We are looking for a Head of People to join our team and administer various human resources programs. This is an opportunity to become a vital team player in an up-and-coming performance-based marketing company. Your role as the Head of People will be far from one-dimensional. You’ll undertake a wide range of HR tasks, like organizing training, administering employee benefits and leaves, and crafting HR policies. You will work with our outsourced HR/Payroll company to ensure all employee records are up-to-date and confidential. You’ll act as the main point of contact for employees’ queries on HR-related topics. The goal is to ensure the HR role runs smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to the organization as a whole. Remote candidates are welcome to apply


Responsibilities:

  • Provide HR support to people across the business, with swift and effective solutions to first level employee questions on all HR topics.
  • Ensure all HR information is handled with a high degree of confidentiality and integrity.
  • Advance the company's values and business strategies.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to employees in the interpretation of HR policies and procedures and assist in resolution of issues; interpret, coach, and enforce company policies and procedures for consistency and compliance.
  • Proactively identify improvements to policies and work environment; partner with business colleagues to affect necessary changes.
  • Organize team building activities
  • Manage, maintain, and update employee files
  • Ensure timely employee review execution (reporting, tracking, promotions, etc).
  • Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training & development initiatives
  • Manage off-boarding, with analysis of turnover to detect trends.
  • Adhoc reporting and operational tracking (training and program attendance, etc).
  • Talent acquisition and development of recruitment strategies and programs that help us reach exceptionally talented people who align with our mission and will thrive in our culture.
  • Lead daily HR operations and manage a staff of 35+, including timekeeping, payroll, employee benefits and civil service processing, ensuring that output is consistent, high quality and performed in a timely manner
