HEALTH / BENEFITS REGIONAL SALES MANAGER

The Platinum Group = TPG Insurance Services is a fast-growing family-owned Independent Insurance Agency. TPG continues to add key team members to our staff. As an Independent Insurance Agency, we offer Commercial insurance, Personal Lines Insurance, and Health/Benefits Insurance for all our small to mid-size business clients. TPG also provides Risk Management, HR & Payroll Services to its clientele.

Responsibilities:

• Send client’s request for proposals to carriers.
• Prepare spreadsheets of recommended plan designs and rates with open enrollment kits, including payroll deduction notices.
• Prepare client proposals, summary plan descriptions, and benefit guides.
• Answer questions from clients and/or employees regarding healthcare coverage or concerns.
• Meet with employers or potential clients to review health care options or coverages.
• Assist client with census and open enrollment information.
• Attend open enrollments and client meetings.
• Enroll new hire employees in healthcare, including scrubbing applications.
• Process employee benefit changes and/or terminations
• Resolve billing issues.
• Prepare open enrollment carrier changes for renewing clients.
• Run employee benefit eligibility report and confirm eligibility with client.
• Follow-up with client regarding delinquent notices.
• Provide enrolled employees with required benefit notices.
• Establish and maintain comprehensive and accurate files and database.
• Cross sell Book to drive growth in health premium.
• Quarterly visits to top 25 clients.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years’ experience of health insurance products.
• Human Resources: 2 years (Preferred)
• Group Health Benefits: 3 years (Required)
• Licensed Insurance Producer required – Group Health and Benefits.
• Bi-lingual Spanish, preferred
• High School Diploma/GED (or higher) or equivalent years of work experience.
• High degree of confidentiality with company sensitive information/documents
• Strong organizational skills
• Great customer service skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook
