Job Title: Health, Safety, Security and Environmental (HSSE) - Specialist - Environmental (Entry Level)

Job Description: What you’ll do

• Perform laboratory analysis of samples, using aseptic technique, following established procedures and in full compliance with official compendial, health authority regulations (eg. USP 788 microscopy method, Bioburden, BET, environmental monitoring, water testing, compressed gas testing).

• Operates and maintains laboratory instruments, while ensuring the reliability of instrumentation through proper maintenance, with ability to troubleshoot minor issues

• Maintains accurate records of work performed and documents results, according to good documentation practices and established procedures.

• Must analyze, evaluate, and interpret data, notifying clients of results, and assisting to resolve issues, if applicable.

• Must be comfortable working in a controlled environment.

Who you are

• Associates degree in Biological Sciences or related field, plus three (3) or more years of QC microbiology laboratory experience with minimum of one (1) year performing viable and non-viable sampling in an ISO classified cleanroom. Travel to other local sites is required.

• Must have knowledge of aseptic technique, environmental monitoring, and microbiological Quality Control testing and procedures.

• Thorough understanding of ISO 14644

• Must have effective verbal and written communication skills.

• Has high level of technical understanding of methods, equipment, and procedures in work area.

• Has ability to complete sampling or testing assignments in a timely and compliant manner, with minimal supervision as well as being able to learn and execute other tasks as needed.

• Experience testing water for endotoxin, bioburden and TOC.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $36.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift
