Harris Health is looking for an experienced Health Unit Coordinator to join our team
About the Position
The Health Unit Coordinator at Harris Health is accountable for the daily clerical operation and coordination of the activities on your assigned nursing unit. You will work closely with the charge nurse to facilitate and support unit operations to ensure that our patients' needs are being met. The Health Unit Coordinator monitors and facilitates compliance with relevant environmental and process safety and regulator standards in addition to maintaining the unit's supplies and equipment. The ideal candidate for this position will be able to function as the hub for coordinating the unit's activity and communication.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Relevant college-level courses or 3 years of relevant experience, preferred
- BLS certification from hospital-based American Heart Association approved program
