Combat Medics are a medical team in the field of military combat. The Combat Medic assists injured soldiers during combat, providing pre-hospital care until they can be transferred to the next level of care. The ideal candidate will have an interest in working in an emergency room or trauma unit and will be well versed in trauma medicine and emergency surgery. The successful Combat Medic will be a well-rounded person capable of practicing medicine in a wide range of practice settings.

Responsibilities:

• Follow combat support doctrine.
• Administer first aid and pre-hospital trauma care.
• Administer medications.
• Care for wounded soldiers.
• Follow army policy and receive army training.
• Provide public health care.
• Prepare for military actions.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $40,052.00 - $43,590.00 per year
