SENIOR CARE / HOME CARE SCHEDULER NEAR HOFFMAN ESTATES (IN BARRINGTON IL)

Do you enjoy working with people in a fast-paced, yet supportive environment? Would you like to make a difference in the lives of seniors and their families? Amada Senior Care Barrington is seeking to add a Caregiver Scheduler to join our team in Barrington IL.

As a key member of our office team, the Scheduler works closely with clients and their families to accurately plan and coordinate their caregiver’s schedule. The Scheduler will optimize productivity while managing schedules and handling calls from current and prospective clients.

Job Responsibilities:

• Schedule shifts by matching caregiver qualifications and availability to clients’ needs
• Communicate new assignments and/or schedule changes to caregivers and clients
• Identify and address scheduling issues (i.e., call-offs, no-shows, etc.)
• Report to the Supervisor who is the best candidate for Caregiver of the Month
• Coordinate monthly Caregiver Birthday Policy
• Manage multiple demands simultaneously.
• Some evening and weekend on-call work will be required.
• Possibly assisting with interviews for prospective caregiver applicants

Successful applicants should meet these requirements:

• High school diploma minimum, Associates degree or higher is preferred
• 2 years of homecare office experience preferred
• Be computer savvy and willing to learn our scheduling software
• Have excellent telephone and written communication skills
• Have experience working with clients in a professional setting
• Be detail-focused and able to stay organized
