Hospitality Lead Job at Seed to Table
The hospitality Lead position is responsible for assisting the managers in maintaining a positive work environment for not only our guests but our team. The lead will drive the total Seed to Table Experience. The lead will assist the hospitality Manager with training and developing all team members. Training and development is a never-ending task because we must be “better today than we were yesterday.”
Essential Job Functions:
- Makes sure all team members are in proper uniform with a name tag.
- Maintains a clean, organized, and stocked environment when necessary.
- Performs all POS Duties.
- Establishes effective and positive communication with all the members.
- Know where your team members are at all times.
- Maintains proper coverage and ensures we’re in compliance with breaks and minor laws.
- Promotes and practices safe work habits, report potential safety hazard, and quality for the guest.
- The Hospitality Lead is the role model for outstanding service and taking ownership of quality.
- Proactive in solving guest problems and satisfying guests in various situations.
- Consistently monitors, coaches, and encourages team members to member Seed the Table Standards.
- Opening and closing tasks must be performed 100% to ensure we are prepared at all times.
a- Opening lead ensures we have a smooth transition from opening to closing shift.
b-Closing lead ensures we have a smooth opening the next day and set them up for success.
- Must show Professionalism and have the appearance to both guests and team members that you are in charge.
- Part of our success as a department is having a consistent message to our team members and the hospitality lead is crucial in this message.
