Host/Hostess Job at Indigenous
As our hostess, you will play a critical role in providing our guests with a warm and welcoming experience from the moment they step through the gate. Your primary responsibilities will include managing reservations, making confirmation calls, and greeting guests as they arrive.
To excel in this role, you should be outgoing, personable, and able to multitask effectively. You will be responsible for managing our reservation system, ensuring that all bookings are accurate and up-to-date. This will require you to maintain a detailed understanding of our menu, availability, and seating arrangements, as well as the ability to coordinate with the rest of the team to ensure smooth service.
As the first point of contact for our guests, you will need to be skilled at making a great first impression. You should be able to anticipate the needs of our guests, answer any questions they may have, and make them feel comfortable and valued. You will also be responsible for managing the flow of guests in and out of the restaurant, ensuring that everyone is seated in a timely and efficient manner.
