The Opportunity
Tide Cleaners is seeking a new team member to join our dry cleaning operations. We are growing quickly and are looking for employees who can scale the plant with the company’s growth. At the heart of the Tide Dry Cleaners production facility is a professional cleaning expert who serves as primary authority on garment care and best cleaning practices. The FOH specialist is accountable for all aspects of the Detailing and Assembly process for garments. Responsibilities include including proper machine operation, correct detailing technique(s), product quality, filling in to cover vacation/call-offs/medical appointments and maintaining an orderly work environment.

The individual in this role is expected to deliver exceptional quality and production standards through proper training, attention to detail and following standard procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Know the basics of assembly and detailing and be able to adapt to the challenges of properly processing new and seasonal fashion styles and fabrics
• Accurately but efficiently scan, inventory, sort, and assemble clean articles by hand
• Mark incoming customer orders; identify garments to be laundered or dry cleaned, tag, mark and classify all pieces and input information into the computerized system via IPAD
• Train and qualify on our detailing and assembling equipment
• Participate in ongoing education and training
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to move from various work situations and throughout the plant quickly and easily
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment through 5S principles

Preferred* Experience*

• 1+ years of dry cleaning, laundry, and garment care experience

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in hot/humid environment
• Ability to lift between 25 - 50 lbs., bend and reach over head to place garments on rails, and grasp, handle, and manipulate objects of various size. Must be able to move from various work situations to distribute garments
• Work shifts will expand in time and days as volume continues to grow.
