Do you enjoy helping others grow? Are you a team player? As a Residential House Manager with Home of Guiding Hands, you are a part of the management team that supports and cares for clients with developmental and intellectual disabilities. House Managers are responsible for:
- Scheduling and Coordinating Community Outings and Therapies
- Developing Direct Support Staff
- Collaborating with Case Managers and QIDPs/Administrators for client care needs
- Assist with Training Residential Service Technicians
- Building Relationships

We have provided services for people with disabilities for over 50 years, and are well-known throughout San Diego County. The Residential program is our largest and longest running program. There are currently 30 group homes. . We have positively impacted thousands of people with special needs and their families within the community.

Our Location
Our residential locations are spread out within East County San Diego. It is an estimate of no more than 20 miles from our main office in El Cajon. Location assignments are discussed within the interview process.

Qualifications
Requirements
We are interested in people who are inspired and passionate to help others in need and is are a great team players. Applicants must fulfill the requirements below:
- 18 years or older
- High school diploma or GED equivalency
- 18 months of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Completion of at least 30 college or university units in education, social services, behavioral sciences, health services, or related fields, AND six (6) months experience providing direct services to persons with developmental disabilities
- Valid CA Driver’s License and 24 months of driving experience
- Supervisory experience preferred
