Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize residents living areas along with public areas within the facility.
• Use chemicals and equipment as directed by manufacturer to ensure safety for staff and residents.
• Restock housekeeping supplies in designated work areas.
• Work independently in a fast pace environment and also work as a team to complete assignments in a timely manner.
• Able to communicate effectively with managers, staff, and residents.
• Required to work weekends and holidays.

Requirements:

• Previous Housekeeping in a Long Term Care facility preferred but not required
• Will provide on the job training
• Must be in good physical health and able to push, pull, twist and bend, and walk or stand for long periods of time
• Must be compassionate and personable
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize assignments
• Ability to handle emotional and stressful situations in a professional manner
