As an ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES AIDE in the HOUSEKEEPING department with Aspirus Wausau Hospital & Clinics, you maintain a clean, healthful, and bacteriologically safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff. In this role you will receive cleaning assignments, clean and sanitize assigned areas through performing tasks such as sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors, preparing beds, cleaning bathrooms, and collecting recycling, garbage using approved methods, chemicals and equipment.

Experience/Qualifications

• Knowledge of housekeeping standards and practices normally acquired through a demonstrated ability to read, write, and remember/follow verbal or written instructions.
• A high school diploma or GED equivalent beneficial.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds maximum and frequently walk, stand, push/pull, reach and twist/turn.
• Previous cleaning experience as a housekeeper, janitor/janitorial, or maid is beneficial.

Aspirus Wausau Hospital is the flagship of the Aspirus system that serves patients in 14 counties across northern and central Wisconsin, as well as the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
