Job Description: The Country Inn & Suites hotel is looking for individuals to join it's team as a Houseman. A houseman is responsible for the janitorial services, cleanliness and upkeep of our public areas, and transporting linen to our laundry facilities. Duties include garbage removal, sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning public facilities, general parking lot upkeep, vacuuming hallways and stairwells, removing and transporting linen to our laundry facilities.
Pre-qualifications: The ideal candidate has a positive and upbeat personality, prefers to stay busy and is comfortable doing a physical job. Must be able to be on their feet, moving, walking, bending and reaching for 5 to 8 hours.
Requirements: Must be available to work weekends and holidays. Shifts are generally 8:30am to 2 or 4pm based on guest / business volume.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Weekend availability

To keep staff and guests safe we have implemented a number of safety measures including sneeze/cough guards, social distancing and mask requirements etc.
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Cleaning: 1 year (Preferred)
- Custodial: 1 year (Preferred)
