We provide excellent mental healthcare and we are training the providers of tomorrow’s cutting-edge advances in mental health treatment protocols.

Our diverse community is dedicated to supporting each other on the journey of life-long learning. As a mission-driven company, we strongly believe that all team members exemplify these values for our organization:

  • Empowerment
  • Inspiration
  • Innovation
  • Presence
  • Dignity
  • Collaboration

We are a conscious and intentional team of mental health educators and business professionals who value personal connection and responsibility, as well as bringing thoughtful, professional, impactful work into the world.

We are seeking a positive, detailed-oriented, proactive, customer service-minded, up-and-coming professional to join our growing team as an HR and Operations Generalist. If you are driven to learn a wide variety of skills from the ground up and be mentored by multiple leaders to grow the company and your career, this is the role for you!

Who we are looking for:

  • Our ideal candidate is a recent college graduate and/or career changer, who is ready to absorb the inner workings of growth-minded human resources and operations teams and aspires to continuously evolve to add value to the company, team, and yourself.
  • Must have professional experience in a job or internship (references required at final round)
  • Communication is key! Must be an effective and efficient communicator - although remote, we all have a healthy sense of urgency to respond to chat messages, emails, and video calls.
  • Must be highly reliable and trustworthy—we live by a "high trust / low ego" philosophy!

Even though our goal is to fully train the right person, we are looking for a go-getter who takes responsibility for the quality of their work and manages their own time effectively.
  • Flexible hours will be very important to your success, as you will be supporting activities in 4 different time zones throughout the US (and possible at times will our media team overseas)

Although we appreciate candidates with many years of experience, we are excited to have the opportunity to help someone new/newer to HR and/or Operations develop the skills to be successful in this industry.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Our new HR and Operations Generalist will cross-train to support the growth of the People Team, Student Affairs, Operations, and Events.
  • Partnering with Operations, HR, and Student Affairs leaders to understand and take on a wide variety of general administrative tasks such as data processing, organizing electronic files, data clean-up, audits, writing and proof-reading content, writing communications templates, etc
  • Works closely with the Director of People, Talent, and Culture throughout the entire employee lifecycle—completing administrative tasks such as preparing contracts, maintaining and updating employee records, reviewing resumes, running background checks, creating job descriptions, backing up payroll and benefits, etc.
  • Customer service minded - responds to internal and external customers via email, zoom video calls, and Zoom chat; including resolving inquiries in an effective and efficient manner and finding ways to improve processes
  • Positive outlook, enjoys overcoming obstacles and gets energized by finding win-win outcomes
  • Analytical research guru; the ideal candidate enjoys digging deep to find solutions, can understand complex information such as compliance guidelines and state regulations, and can take ownership of certain research projects
  • Host Zoom meetings - there will be times when your help will be needed throughout the week, as well as some evenings and weekends.
  • Tech savvy - enjoys learning new platforms, helping with system clean-up, creating tags, building out new features, identifying opportunities to create efficiencies, and improving the accuracy of information
  • Uses creativity and organizational skills to help create efficiencies, build flow charts, and has excellent follow-through
  • Excels in (and enjoys) a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Other ad hoc tasks as the need arises

Position Title: HR and Operations Generalist

Location: Fully remote / virtual within the US

Work Status: Full-time, W2 Employee

Hours: Hours are flexible based on your time zone, but you will be expected to dedicate approximately 40 hours per week to this role, keeping in mind core business hours of 9am - 5pm MT. You will be expected to work some nights and weekends

Technology: Must have your own laptop, smartphone, and high-speed internet meeting at least 90 Mbps. The Company does not have a tech reimbursement plan at this time.

Start Date: As soon as possible. This is a new role.

Rate: $50,000+ salary depending on experience and skill sets

In addition to the formal responsibilities, we look for team members that will excel in our company culture. Here at IPI, we are a culture grounded in our core values. We work hard to create an environment that enables our employees to grow personally and professionally. We encourage our employees to show up as their best, most authentic selves and to bring fresh ideas, and new perspectives with them!

  • We work together as a team. Although we all have different roles, passions, and perspectives we are always willing to help others, step outside our comfort zone, and contribute to the overall mission and goals of the Company.
  • We encourage self-development. We expect, encourage, and enable our team members to work towards professional and personal goals, aspirations, and new levels of challenge and fulfillment in their work and personal life.
  • We prioritize doing things right the first time. Whenever possible, we seek to create sustainable, repeatable, efficient processes instead of band-aid solutions. We always keep the aspirational vision in mind when planning our projects.
  • We believe that self-reflection and accountability are important. Our culture values and requires our team members to be able to engage in true self-reflection. We offer and accept respectful, well-intentioned constructive feedback from our peers and leaders. Each of us reflects on how we can do better in our roles, challenging ourselves to look at our own areas for improvement and blind spots and commit to continued growth.
