HR/Training Director Job at Chick-fil-A | Stephenville, TX
The Human Resources/Training Director is responsible for providing day-to-day oversight to human resources and training within the restaurant, as well as thinking strategically to grow and develop these areas.
Training:
- Must know Chick-fil-A policies and procedures for assigned area. Must stay up to date via Pathway on changes and additions to procedures. Must have a general knowledge of all areas of the store.
- Responsible for the operations in assigned area of the store. Must communicate proactively and effectively with assigned team members and leadership.
- Act as the representative for assigned team members, ensuring that they are properly cared for and ensuring that they are doing their job correctly.
- Must have a heart for training and developing people
- In charge of developing and administering new-hire orientation and training
- Discipline Employees when needed.
Human Resources
- In charge of compliance. Must create procedures to ensure that company is following local, state, and federal guidelines at all times.
- I-9 Administration: In-charge of verifying I-9 documents and ensuring that forms are completed correctly.
- Hiring: Has an eye for talent and interviews candidates for roles within the restaurant.
- Onboarding: In charge of the onboarding process and ensuring that all paperwork is completed correctly. Acts as a liaison between the business and employee during the process.
- Assists with employee relations concerns. Must be able to remain objective and fair.
- Actively promotes and fosters a positive work culture that is free from discrimination and harassment.
