There is an exciting opportunity for a talented professional to join the HR team in LA as a HR Administrator. This role will support the process of new hires, HR documentation and administration, and any HR related questions and projects.

Job Description:
- Responsible for organizing and safeguarding confidential information, displaying the utmost level of discretion and ethical standards.
- Ensures that I-9 documentation and forms are completed and are filed, including E-Verify for all new hires.
- Coordinates the new hire experience from recruitment to onboarding, including assistance with reference checks, background screening, new hire orientation.
- Coordinates IT and Office services for all new hires answers any questions about new hire equipment, and ensures the desk is ready before the start date.
- Manages processes improvements, streamline systems, and data integrity for onboarding any other HR process.
- Coordinates employee eligibility and acts as a liaison between employees and insurance companies to resolve employee benefits issues and discrepancies.
- Assists the HR team with questions regarding eligibility, salaries, benefits, and other pertinent information.
- Assists in the Bi-Weekly Processing of Payroll.
- Handles workplace injuries by sending injured employees to the medical clinic, completing a claim form, and submitting it to the insurance carrier. Monitors any follow-up medical treatment.
- Manages and maintains the OSHA-300 log for all reportable injuries.
- Ensures injured workers receives proper medical treatment promptly to enable them to return to their position with minimal risk of re-injury as soon as possible
Summary of Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
- Previous Human Resources experience strongly preferred.
- California Labor Law knowledge Preferred.
- Knowledge of HR principles and federal/local regulations
- Multi-task and prioritize in a busy and fast-growth environment.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is essential.
- Exhibit great discretion, flexibility, and willingness to work closely with our tea.
- Bilingual (Spanish) Required
