Case Design/Remodeling is currently looking for a Human Resources Assistant. The HR Assistant will be responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and will work closely with the HR Manager in supporting the organization.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Coordinate and help facilitate New Hire Orientation and Onboarding
• Assist HR Manager with leave management and compliance, including assisting employees with the short-term and long-term disability claim process; monitor receipt of pre-employment tests to include, but not limited to, drug tests and background checks; maintain OSHA logs
• Create and maintain personnel files
• Assist with benefit open enrollment meetings and help educate our employees on benefit options and plan provisions
• Assist with employee benefits administration to include enrollment, change reporting, claims resolution, terminations, and reconciliation of monthly benefit statements.

OTHER FUNCTIONS

• Maintain and coordinate performance review schedules
• Submit to Accounts Payable monthly benefit statements (billings) for payment; ensures accuracy of statements
• Maintain the Intranet page for the Administration/Human Resource group
• Primary back up to Front Desk Coordinator
• Assist with company newsletter as needed
• Other duties as required/assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2 – 3 years of Human Resources experience, preferred
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Fundamental knowledge of HR principals, procedures, and practices including benefits program administration, and regulatory compliance
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality

Pay: $24.04 - $26.44 per hour
