Human Resources Assistant
- Operate as a trusted team member through your professional credibility and strong relationships with senior leaders.
- Act as a change-agent as the business continues to reshape itself with a goal of being #wherethebestwanttobelong.
- Leverage available people data to provide insights and recommendations to leadership.
- Leverage all existing HR programs, policies, processes, and systems, and build relationships with the HR Managers at Gray, Inc. Be a first point of contact for matters ranging from orientation and compensation questions to benefit qualifications.
- Engage quickly, compassionately, and judiciously on employee relations issues; and perform investigations as needed.
- Partner closely with Gray Talent Acquisition to help deliver on our recruiting and hiring goals.
- High School degree or equivalent with at least one year of HR or Payroll Experience.
- Must be bilingual in Spanish.
- A bias towards action, stellar work ethic, and desire to achieve excellence in your programs and work products.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; must be a persuasive communicator possessing excellent interpersonal, group facilitation, process, and influencing skills.
- Ability to work with both onsite and distributed teams effectively.
- Familiarity with federal, state, and local laws, statutes, etc. which govern employment policies and practices.
- Ability and desire to operate with a high degree of flexibility.
