Office of Human Resources

Job Summary


HR Coordinators are responsible for managing University needs in their respective area. They build relationships with the University constituents and then provide guidance and assistance.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Budget Office and Payroll Departments to resolve issues
  • Collaborate with Shared Services on tickets and issues
  • Develop and maintain relationships with department and University at large
  • Dual Appointment Agreements
  • Monitor OneUSG data entry process for all hires, rehires, promotions, transfers, terminations, pay changes, leaves, etc.
  • Monitor Records & Compliance Standard Operating Procedures and let manager know when they need updated
  • Oversee HR website pages for Records & Compliance. Send approved updates to HR Professional Development
  • Oversee the Transfer process with USG with Shared Services
  • Process unemployment claims through USG subcontractor
  • Provide backup for data entry into OneUSG from Personnel Action forms, Hiring Proposals, and manager self-service, including and not limited to hiring, terminating, promoting, transferring, personal data change, and pay rate changes
  • Provide training to campus on relevant topics such as Employee Self-Service, Manager Self-Service, and Personnel Action forms
  • Respond to requests submitted in the MyHelp Ticket System
  • Review Personnel Action Forms from Budget Office, sign and distribute
  • Verify all submitted forms are complete and accurate
  • Work directly with campus departments to ensure procedures are followed and required documents are submitted in a timely manner
  • Work in Correction mode in Job Data and Badge Data to correct keying errors
  • Work with the Provost Office on new faculty appointments and issues

Required Qualifications


Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree

Required Experience

  • Two (2) or more years of related work experience
  • Knowledge of current OneUSG system

Proposed Salary


$19.95 - $21.97 per hour

This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis.
