Human Resources Representative-Team Member Relations Job at Rivers Casino, Des Plaines
Essential Job Functions:
Employee Engagement & Retention
Fully administer and execute TM recognition programs including awareness and participation
Review iTrak for any potential Team Relations concerns
Provides guidance to TMs on how to access the proper channels to deal with issues or problems
Conduct turnover /focus group meetings, as needed - track & report trends, common reasons for departures, TM concerns, departmental areas of improvement, and recommend retention strategies
Create process improvement opportunities to increase overall TM engagement and participation
Participate in initiatives to boost Team Member morale and reduce turnover
Fully administer property-wide TM programs
Facilitate the Team Relations portion of New Hire Orientation
Employee Investigation
Conducts basic investigations and provide recommendations to Team Relations Manager
Recommend solutions for addressing basic workplace issues and corrective actions
Interpret policies and relate findings from investigations to policies and procedures
Create strategy to resolve issues and prepare applicable reports
Ensures compliance with applicable employment laws and regulatory guidelines
Prepare reporting and analyze data for trends.

Performs all other duties as assigned
Back-up Team Relations Manager as needed
Job Requirements :
Must have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in Human Resources
Three years (3) experience in Employee Relations or Human Resources
Proven ability to handle difficult and emotional Team Members professionally
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Excellent computer skills, including all Microsoft applications
Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including holidays
Frequent walking, standing, kneeling, twisting, bending and lifting
