Groff's Home Comfort Team is a family owned company of 30+ years located in Willow Street, just south of Lancaster City. We are involved in all mechanical aspects of new home installation, and servicing our communities existing systems. We strive to provide excellent customer service and production in new construction as we continue to grow our company!

We are currently seeking skilled HVAC Technicians with at least 3-4 years in the HVAC Service/Installation trade who are excited about growing in their knowledge of the trade, and eager to deliver exceptional production for our customers.

Technician:

• At least 2 years of HVAC Service/Retro Install experience
• Possess a valid driver's license
• Ability to work independently and as a team
• Keeps themselves organized, clean and presentable for customers
• Interested in continuing education opportunities

Job Description:

• Providing professional and ethical service to our customer's HVAC needs
• Exhibit proficiency in servicing, troubleshooting and cleaning of heating and cooling equipment and related products (i.e., forced air, hydronic, electronic heat, make up air and exhaust systems).
• Capable of installation
• Strong knowledge of latest tools and technology in the industry is essential.
• Have working knowledge of electronic wiring diagrams, schematics and architectural/mechanical blueprints
• Adhere to all local, state and federal building codes practices and regulations
• Possess a valid PA Drivers License
• The ability to perform your job with less than 10-15% call back rate
• Communicate in a professional manner with co-employees, subcontractors and customers
• Attend company and department meetings, and all pertinent company functions as required by Service Manager
• Educational requirements include a high school diploma or GED. Two years of post-secondary education through vocational or technical schools with diploma or certification in heating and air conditioning repair is recommended, but not currently required at Groff's
• EPA Types I, II certification required (Universal Recommended). Certification is obtained through an approved U.S. Environmental Protection Agency program (EPA Refrigerant Handling Certification cards must be kept on record)
