Import and Export Coordinator Job at GL international

$20 - $25 an hour

DUTIES:

1. Receiving, confirming, and entering purchase orders as needed; providing basic customer service including but not limited to providing tracking information, tracking current order status, checking stock status, providing basic product information, and trouble shooting unforeseen problems and suggest solutions; reading, researching, and routing correspondence; drafting e-mails and documents; collecting and analyzing information; initiating telecommunications

2. Maintain and enhance business relationships with current customers as well as seek ways to obtain new customers by identifying and contacting all decision makers, identifying and presenting new product opportunities and ensuring service excellence for every client interface

3. Provide accurate, complete, and timely updates, when required

4. Make business development calls to current and new customers

5. Respond to customer inquiries via phone and e-mail, assist customers during their evaluation process, create quotes and new customer accounts, co-ordinate with channel partners, and close sales

6. Produces information by transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying, and transmitting text, data, and graphics

7. Welcomes guests and customers by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or directing inquiries.

8. Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.

9. Prepares and submits accurate and timely reports by collecting and analyzing information.

10. Provides historical reference by developing and utilizing filing and retrieval systems; recording meeting discussions.

11. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications.

12. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
