Summary

The role of the Inbound Operations Coordinator is to assist in the management and execution of the 3PL with a focus on flow of inventory/supplies, organization, and inventory management. This individual should be willing and able to have a hands-on approach to the execution of the inbound operations. This individual will work closely with Outbound Operations Coordinator, Customer Operations Distribution Manager, Director of Strategic Planning, Account Executives, and Team Leaders. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Ensure client SLAs are met in all aspects of inbound operation: receiving, returns, etc.
• Develop, improve, and maintain the performance framework including standardized processes, KPIs, SLAs and guidelines across operation teams.
• Contribute recommendations for strategic plans regarding inventory management, organization, process improvements, and safety.
• Forecast overtime for inbound operations, analyze variances, and issue corrective actions as needed.
• Analyze process workflow, staff, space requirements, and equipment needed.
• Review and approve staff time off based on forecasted operations in coordination with Account Executives.
• Oversee special projects (as related to inbound operations), organization, and safety of the 3PL warehouse.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for special projects (as related to inbound operations) in conjunction with the Director of Strategic planning and Customer Operations Distribution Manager.
• Work closely with the Inbound Manager and Outbound Operations Coordinator to maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the warehouse.
• Work closely with Outbound Operations Coordinator, Team Leaders and Account Executives to devise ways of improving the customer experience.
• Work closely with team leaders and account executives to perform inventory analysis.
• Ensure that the work area is safe, and associates are using best practices to minimize injury.
• Conduct weekly follow-up meetings with account executives and team leaders to analyze current performance for inbound operations.
• Other duties as assigned.
